Want to try the Ch’King? The chicken sandwich trend is here to stay and the Burger King chicken sandwich wants to stand out in the crowd. Although the quick service restaurant comes a little later to the party, the final result is definitely worth the wait.

For the fans who have received a taste already, the response has been huge. As shared by Ellie Doty, chief marketing officer, Burger King North America. “We said we would create a delicious hand-breaded chicken sandwich that was worth the wait, we just didn’t anticipate that it would turn out quite this good.”

According to Burger King, the Ch’King is a hand-breaded chicken, served on a toasty, potato bun. Topped with pickles and a savory signature sauce. The potato bun is a nice choice for a chicken sandwich. The softer texture should be a good contrast to the crispy chicken.

While there are similarities across all chicken sandwiches, the sauce is what sets the sandwiches apart. If Burger King can offer a tangy, savory sauce that brings the whole sandwich together, everyone will want to try this new offering.

In addition to the classic Ch’King, Burger King is offering a spicy and deluxe version, too. The spicy offering has a spicy glaze. Although the spice level is not specified, it should have a definite kick.

The Deluxe version adds tomato to the sandwich but takes off the pickle. It will be curious if guests can ask to add that pickle back onto the sandwich. Chicken sandwiches and pickles seem to be a classic pairing.

To kick off the nationwide launch of the new Burger King chicken sandwich, there is a special offer. Starting on June 3, orders on the BK app or via the website will receive a free Whopper. Who wouldn’t want an extra sandwich with their order?
