For GODIVA, a piece of chocolate is more than just a sweet treat. Sometimes that perfectly decadent, always indulgent, and always satisfying bite can bring a smile that makes any day seem sweeter. Luckily, that special delivery is just around the corner.

In the past year, some people have not had a lot of moments to smile. From special traditions being postponed to life being turned upside down, those speed bumps seemed more plentiful than the highpoints.

GODIVA wants to bring the smiles to summer and it is just the brand to make that happen. Celebrating its 95th anniversary, those iconic chocolates are shimmering more brightly than that gold box that holds them.

As a brand steeped in tradition, this special event brings a piece of the brand’s history to the streets of New York City. According to the brand, Pierre Draps, the brand’s found, used brightly painted pink delivery trucks to bring its deliciousness around Brussels. While people were feeling the sadness from the end of the war, this vibrant truck became the symbol of happiness.

On June 9, 12 and 13, GODIVA brins its iconic pink truck to New York City. In and around, Herald Square, Midtown West, SoHo and Central Park, people can receive free chocolate treats.

For the events on June 12 and 13, the pink truck will be at:

Saturday 6/12

· 12-5PM: Right outside The Met, corner of East 82nd Street and 5th Avenue

Sunday 6/13

· 12-5PM: On West Broadway, between Grand Street and Canal Street

While New York City residents will get this special delivery, it doesn’t mean that others will not enjoy a piece of the iconic chocolate. Why not buy some GODIVA and share some chocolate with others. Sometimes bringing a smile to someone’s day is just that simple.
