While the chefs have yet to find their maturity, could Hell’s Kitchen Season 20 episode 5 finally be the turning point for these young guns? Although no one is ever safe in Hell’s Kitchen, these chefs better learn the secret to executing a well-run dinner service.

According to FOX, Hell’s Kitchen Season 20 episode 5, “Young Guns: Stirring the Pot,” features the following:

"After a big shakeup during the last elimination, both teams must work together to decipher recipes written in emojis. Later, one team has its best dinner service performance yet, while the other team struggles to find its groove in the all-new “Young Guns: Stirring the Pot” episode of HELL’S KITCHEN airing Monday, June 28 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX."

As seen in the first couple of episodes, the Blue Team cannot communicate. From the bickering to the finger pointing, the reality is that their egos are too big for their chef coats. Chefs who cook good food and who execute a well-run dinner service do not play the blame game.

While some of these chefs have experience, they seem to lack the communication skills. With Chef Ramsay using emojis for a recipe, it seems that he is trying to speak these chefs’ language. Whether it is a game or an olive branch, someone has to give a little.

In the end, the whole point of this challenge is to promote communication. These chefs have been unable to listen to each other, work as a team and fall in line. In a true kitchen brigade, the team is only as strong as its weakest link. Unfortunately, it is all weakness and no strength.

Will there be another shake-up in Hell’s Kitchen Season 20 episode 5? The pot is being stirred but is anyone watching it simmer?
