Can the Hell’s Kitchen Young Guns put chicken gate behind them in this new episode? As seen in this Young Guns Going Big episode video exclusive, it seems that the cooking issues ignite another controversy.

While the new Hell’s Kitchen Season 20 might have joked about the “Ok Boomer” stigma, the reality is that age is not the issue with these chefs. The problem is that no one has put on their big boy chef coat yet. The only person who can name call, point fingers and play the blame game is Gordon Ramsay. And, he has earned that authority.

As seen in the first three episodes, the chefs are struggling within the pressures of Hell’s Kitchen. Whether it is the dreaded lack of communication or something else, these chefs better stand up to the fire or they will go up in flames.

According to FOX, Hell’s Kitchen Young Guns: Young Guns Going Big episode features the following:

"The chefs are challenged to make brunch for 60 hungry Caesars Palace employees, fresh off the night shift. Later, one chef takes the fall during the use of a punishment pass, earning the respect of both teams, and dinner service leads some chefs to crack under the pressure."

As seen in this exclusive video clip, the poor cooking mistakes continue. No one is learning from their mistakes. Repeatedly under-cooking a dish does not earn any points with Chef Ramsay or the fellow chefs in the kitchen.

The one thing that seems to be missing from this reaction is the ire from Chef Ramsay. Even as he discards the poorly cooked salmon, he almost seems beaten down. Have these Young Guns sucked the life out of the celebrated chef? Could this season with all the bickering, finger pointing and poor decisions be the one that breaks him?

Although no one should be commended for stepping up to claim the under-cooked salmon (again), there is a positive for the Red Team. Unlike the blame game that continues to happen on the Blue Team, the Red Team is owning the mistake. Poorly cooked proteins will get a chef booted, but at least she has put on her big girl chef coat.

Something needs to change in Hell’s Kitchen Young Guns. While age might be just a number, time is running out for these chefs to master their cooking skills. Maybe they need to go to MasterChef and pick up a few pointers from those home cooks.
