The Great Food Truck Race All Stars episode 5 preview: Delivery issues show no love

With only three teams remaining, The Great Food Truck Race All Stars is rolling to the finale. While only one truck will earn the win, this season has proved that nothing is predictable. Could a favorite come up just short in this delivery challenge?

According to Food Network, The Great Food Truck Race All Stars episode 5, “Delivery Nightmare” features the following:

"At the iconic Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors, the three remaining food trucks teams have to shoot hoops in order to earn their choice of proteins. On day one, host Tyler Florence makes the trucks remain stationary while the teams become delivery services. The inability to sell on their trucks pushes the teams to their limit, and a tense elimination reveals the final two teams."

While there have been many creative challenges this season, making the food truck teams shoot for their proteins is difficult. One of these teams might need a ringer to help them sink a basket.

For the main challenge, the idea of the delivery service is an interesting one for the food trucks. Although Waffle Love leveraged a big delivery order earlier in the season, it does not guarantee success a second time around.

Looking at the three remaining food trucks,Seoul Sausage, The Lime Truck and Waffle Love, there has been much success with “taste of the truck” offerings. If the teams can continue to leverage these bigger orders, it could earn them a spot in the finale.
