While the menu might be plentiful, no one can resist dessert at The Cheesecake Factory. Now, there is another choice that makes picking just one slice even more difficult. Ready to try the Coconut Cream Pie Cheesecake?

Ahead of National Cheesecake Day, the popular restaurant brand has added this new cheesecake flavor. Described as “coconut cheesecake, vanilla custard and a layer of chocolate on a coconut macaroon crust,” it sounds like that classic macaroon has been made into cheesecake form.

Looking at this new dessert offering, the coconut macaroon crust will be a game changer. While the classic graham cracker crust will always be a cheesecake favorite, this different crust might open the doors to new possibilities. Besides an OREO cookie crust, why not try a Nutter Butter crust or chocolate chip cookie crust on  cheesecake. The options are many.

Why celebrate National Cheesecake Day at The Cheesecake Factory?

If the new Coconut Cream Pie Cheesecake flavor wasn’t big enough food news, the popular restaurant brand is marking the annual dessert food holiday with a special celebration. As David Overton, Founder and CEO of The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, said, “The Cheesecake Factory is honored to commemorate National Cheesecake Day by continuing our longstanding support of Feeding America’s hunger-relief efforts.”

National Cheesecake Day is celebrated on July 30. This year, The Cheesecake Factory will donate “$1 to Feeding America for every slice of its more than 30 legendary flavors of cheesecake sold” on that day.

While that one-day celebration will trigger a huge donation, the restaurant brand isn’t stopping there. It announced that for “every slice of Coconut Cream Pie Cheesecake sold July 31, 2021 through July 29, 2022, the company will donate 25 cents to Feeding America.”

Although many people have their favorite cheesecake dessert, the ability to help a charity might help guests try a new flavor. Or, maybe it could encourage them to enjoy a slice at the restaurant and take one home to share.
