Addams Family brings its kooky to Kellogg cereals and snacks
Get those fingers ready to snap because Kellogg cereals and snacks are welcoming the Addams Family to the table. While everyone can probably sing that iconic theme song, it is time to get a taste of the slightly creepy and kooky family. Although there might not be just stems in the flower vase, there will be something memorable on the table.
Laura Newman, senior marketing director of Kellogg All Family Cereal, said “A timeless Halloween classic, ‘The Addams Family’ has brought families and friends together for years. This collaboration enables families to bring the oddly lovable Addams Family spirit home with our spooky cereals and trick-or-treat-ready snacks.”
Celebrating the release of the upcoming The Addams Family 2 animated movie on October 1, Kellogg’s and MGM have partnered on these new cereal and snack offerings. While the flavors of these iconic food brands have become spooky, the famous characters are getting some new friends. Wednesday, Lurch and even Cousin It join Kellogg’s icons like Tony the Tiger and Toucan Sam.
The boxes aren’t the only spooky element in this collaboration. The Kellogg cereals have been transformed with monster, ghost and bat marshmallows. Each spoonful is full of the spooky spirit. More importantly, it offers a new take on those favorite cereals. Who wouldn’t want some marshmallows with those Froot Loops?
Even though Halloween is a little further away, the reality is that many people enjoy that sense of spooky all year long. Plus, the Addams family embraced their creepy lifestyle all 365 days of the year. It might be time to say goodbye to that summer fun and embrace the spooky spirit.
The special offerings include Kellogg’s Spooky Cereal, Kellogg’s Froot Loops Jumbo Snax, Pop-Tarts Frosted Spooky Chocolatey Fudge Bites, and Rice Krispies Treats Original Big Bars. The new offerings will be available starting in July.
