Hell’s Kitchen Season 20 episode 9 preview: One mistake too many
While these young guns are starting to find their way in the kitchen, Gordon Ramsay is ready to swap the script. Could Hell’s Kitchen Season 20 episode 9 spell disaster for one chef who was previous at top of their game?
According to FOX, Hell’s Kitchen Season 20 episode 9, “A Game Show From Hell” features the following:
"The chefs’ spelling and cooking skills are put to the test in a game of Spells Kitchen, during which one team struggles to work together on its dish. Later, during a special Charity Dinner Service, both teams make big mistakes, and one chef gets heated over who should be put on the chopping block in the all-new “A Game Show From Hell” episode of HELL’S KITCHEN airing Monday, Aug. 9 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX."
The first challenge for the chefs might put everyone on edge. While many of these chefs might be a star on the station, they might not be the “A student” in this game. Does the chef need to spell out their success or can they find another way to prove their worth?
At the same time, this challenge might not be about earning personal accolades. At this point in Hell’s Kitchen, it is about the team effort. In order to earn that black jacket, the chefs need to rely on each other to get to the next level.
Although every chef wants to earn the ultimate prize, tough decisions have to be made. Having friends on the line can make for a more enjoyable dinner service, but it might not be the best choice to earn the Hell’s Kitchen title.
Looking back at the first eight episodes, there is no clear front runner. There have been too many mis-steps to say that one chef or a few chefs have proven to be a leader in the kitchen. Although that situation could put a target on one person’s back, the reality is that the person who proves themselves to Gordon Ramsay could be one step closer to a black jacket.
