For the first time, the Food Network holiday movie, Candy Coated Christmas is going to be the best present for foodies. What sugar, flour and butter confections will this holiday delight offer?

Candy Coated Christmas is set to be a sweet treat that Food Network fans will want to unwrap. While many people cannot resist the nightly holiday movies once the winter chill hits, this new offering could be a huge game changer for the Discovery, Inc. programming.

As Kathleen Finch, Chief Lifestyle Brands Officer, Discovery, Inc. said, “Food Network fans live for the holidays, so creating a Christmas movie featuring one of our biggest stars is an exciting way to expand our offerings and to showcase an incredibly popular talent like Ree. We’ve created the kind of Christmas movie that only we can — it’s a perfect gift for our passionate fans.”

While excitement builds over this new programming, it begs the question if other Food Network personalities will be appearing in themed movies. Looking at the upcoming Halloween Baking Championship season, Carla Hall and Zac Young could easily step into a dramatic role. The cross-over into other programming has numerous possibilities.
