Toast to No Time To Die with the official James Bond Champagne
While his preferred martini might be a 007 classic, the official James Bond Champagne is the perfect toast for the 25th movie in the venerable franchise. Put the bottle on ice, grab a champagne flute and raise a toast for there is No Time To Die.
Cocktails and Bond seem to go hand in hand. While each film might have a local favorite or character might have a signature beverage, the truth is that one champagne has been associated with the iconic film franchise for over 40 years.
Like many items associated with James Bond, the idea of the ultimate gentleman is celebrated. While that refined appearance and debonair attitude might hide a cunning cad, the reality is that a gentleman’s agreement can be more powerful than written bond.
Regarding the connection between Champagne Bollinger and James Bond, the partnership was sealed with a handshake. In 1978, the Bond movie producers and the Bollinger’s general manager made their pact and the partnership has been going strong ever since. More importantly, no money has ever been exchanged between the pair. A feat that few people could ever add to a list of business accomplishments.
In 15 different Bond movies, the Champagne Bollinger has been featured. From Live and Let Die to Casino Royale to various others, a vintage of Champagne Bollinger was poured. While few people will experience the perils and the triumphs of James Bond, they can drink his preferred champagne.
In honor of No Time To Die, there is a special release, Bollinger Special Cuvee 007 Limited Edition. The special release has many nods to the partnership, “including ‘BOLLINGER 007’ depicted on the gold neck collar as well as a 007 seal in place of Bollinger’s classic blazon.”
From popping a bottle for the movie premiere or toasting to a special occasion, the James Bond Champagne, Bollinger Special Cuvee 007 Limited Edition, is sold for $79, wherever the Bollinger brand is sold.
