While kids might have planned the perfect Halloween costume and the ideal route to collect the most Halloween candy, it doesn’t mean that the Halloween candy will last till Santa arrives. Sometimes parents might “borrow” those Reese’s peanut butter cups or peanut M&M’S. Is there a solution to keep Halloween candy safe?

Recently, Crest created a way to keep Halloween candy safe. While this idea isn’t necessarily a guarantee that a piece or two might be “borrowed,” it is a way to appreciate a little balance with that sweet treat.

According to Carlos Quintero, P&G Vice President, Oral Care North America. “We know Halloween is all about the candy. And Crest gives parents peace of mind knowing that when their kids choose sweets, Crest has them covered, But Halloween candy needs protection too! So we came up with the perfect solution for parents and kids to keep their teeth and candy protected this Halloween.”

Through the Instagram social media giveaway, Crest offered candy safes. The posts shared by families love Crest and why they wanted Crest #BringOnTheCandy Safe. Some of the responses were quite creative. From Halloween costume photos to favorite candy, it seems that many people wanted to keep their Halloween candy safe this season.

A few posts even recommended a few Halloween candy eating tips. For example, a few posts commented on limiting candy eating to just a particular time of day. That all day nibbling isn’t necessarily good for your teeth. And, everyone knows that after enjoying a sweet treat, it is best to brush your teeth.

While there might be many ways to keep Halloween candy safe, this Crest promotion turns the Halloween season into a spirited conversation. It is less about stealing Halloween candy. It is about Halloween treats and how they bring people together. In some ways, the part of the conversation is just as important as proper teeth brushing.
