Serendipity3 celebrates Broadway with Waitress Pie in the Sky Sundae

As the curtain has risen on the Great White Way, Serendipity3 celebrates Broadway with Waitress Pie in the Sky Sundae. While butter, sugar and flour can be transformed into magical flavors, this special sundae hits all the high notes. Ready to enjoy a taste of this deliciousness?

In June Serendipity3 reopened its doors to much fanfare. Whether guests come for that iconic Frrrozen Hot Chocolate or one of the over-the-top menu items, a visit to this iconic restaurant is always a memorable one.

The newest special menu item, Waitress Pie in the Sky Sundae celebrates New York’s reopening and the curtain rising on Broadway shows. As Chef Joe Calderone, Creative Director of Serendipity3 said, “Broadway is one of the iconic elements of the heartbeat of New York City and we are so excited to share our new sundae, inspired by the hit show, ‘Waitress,’ as we welcome guests back in for a bite following their show.”

For those unfamiliar with the Broadway show, Jenna is known for her delicious pies. What might start as butter, flour and sugar is more than just another slice of dessert. It is her way to rise to the occasion, fulfill her dream and lead a better life.

Even the Broadway show gives guests a whiff of all that baking. On the side of the stage, real pies rotate in that bakery case and entice with their aromas.

For the Waitress Pie in the Sky Sundae, the dessert features a “slice of Jenna’s famous Blueberry Pie, with three celebratory scoops of Serendipity Vanilla Vogue ice cream and Blueberry-Ginger Sauce, a dreamy mountain of Whipped Cream, topped with a sprinkling of Fresh Blueberries and a Cherry.” The sundae costs $26.95. In addition, 10% of the “proceeds from the Broadway’s ‘Waitress’ Pie in the Sky Sundae will be donated to the Artist Relief Fund.”

The Waitress Pie in the Sky Sundae is a featured menu item. It joins other favorites including Selena Sundae, It’s My Birthday Cake Sundae and Infamous Truffle Burger with Boursin Cheese & Black Truffle Mayo.
