Beefy Black and Bleu brings the boldness to the Jimmy John’s menu

Jimmy John’s might be known for its freaky fast, fresh sandwiches but its new Beefy Black and Bleu sandwich might have people craving the “Triple B” as much as love those three “Fs.” Yes, this sandwich is all that, and a big bag of chips.

Jimmy John’s has never been shy about putting bold flavors on the menu. As seen in recent new menu offerings, flavor is front and center. From the moment that the sandwich is unwrapped till the last crumb is enjoyed, these sandwiches leave a lasting impression.

The unexpected and bold flavor combination of our new Beefy Black & Bleu Sandwich is the latest example of the high-quality, flavor-forward sandwich variety consumers have come to expect and enjoy from the Jimmy John’s brand.”

With the new Beefy Black and Bleu, Jimmy John’s takes the classic beef and blue cheese crumble combination out of the steakhouse and onto the sandwich. While this food order doesn’t require a fork and knife, it is a flavor combination not often seen at quick service restaurants.

For this new menu item, the sandwich features thinly sliced beef which is topped with blue cheese sauce and crumbles. In addition, there is a horseradish aioli, peppercorns, and other toppings (like lettuce and tomato). The sandwich is served on the traditional Jimmy John’s bread.

What makes the Beefy Black and Bleu so good?

While most people will order this new menu item because of the blue cheese, that ingredient is just one part of the enjoyment. Sure, the big pieces of blue cheese crumbles are flavor treasures studded within the sandwich. But, the enjoyment is more than just that pungent taste.
