Right before Halloween every year, everyone has the tasty excuse to visit Dairy Queen. The annual DQ Miracle Treat Day 2021 has returned. Are you ready to put a new appointment on your dessert calendar?

From the Blizzard Fall Menu to the popular OREO Blizzard, the DQ Miracle Treat Day 2021 is the reason to head to Dairy Queen for a Blizzard. On October 28, the annual fundraising event happens at participating restaurants. How much money will be raised for Children’s Miracle Network this year?

While many people participate in this special event because Blizzards are a $1, that amount is the suggested donation. Since the event is a charity fundraiser, that frozen treat could be a little more. Why not spend the regular menu price and support the kids?

As it says on the Dairy Queen website, “Healing and Happiness in Local Children’s Hospitals” is the goal. These children are deserving of all the help as they fight their brave battles.

And, if there isn’t a Dairy Queen in your neighborhood, everyone can donate. Wouldn’t it be nice for 2021 to be the biggest fundraiser yet?

What Blizzard should you order on DQ Miracle Treat Day 2021?

Given that this year’s Fall Menu is bursting with delicious flavors, it can be hard to pick just one favorite. It might be time to try the new Pecan Pie Blizzard. While the classic pie is always in fashion, this version captures the best parts of that dessert. Sweet, crunchy and quite satisfying, it is worthy of that Happy Tastes Good label.

Of course, the six returning flavors could have people wishing that these desserts were served post-Thanksgiving dinner. It might be time to keep the baking to the minimum and let Dairy Queen take over. No one says that pumpkin pie has to be served on a plate.
