With Scary Sunday, aka Halloween, quickly approaching everything seems to have a spooky slant. While all the Halloween costumes, candy and cocktails might have people feeling frightful, there might be something else served with that crave case. Do you dare visit the haunted White Castle restaurant?

For people who believe in the supernatural, there are many haunted restaurants around the country. Whether there might be a ghost lurking at the table in the corner or an unexpected sound coming from the kitchen, there could be a few frights served with that dinner.

In Scottsdale, Arizona, there appears to be a haunted White Castle restaurant. With singles like “All work and no Sliders makes Jack a dull boy” make guests wonder if the note that “nothing scary inside, honest” are hiding something sinister seasoning those sliders.

Actually, this Fright Castle is just a little creative fun on Google Maps. When the location is shown on the site, the imagery is just a little slight of hand. All those spiders, ghosts and other eerie images are just make believe, or is it?

The truth is that the whole concept is part of a Halloween activation. As Jamie Richardson, a vice president at White Castle, said, “Halloween is a spooktacular time to treat our Cravers to some dealicious offers. And if we create a little mischief in the process, so be it!”

Available now through Halloween, White Castle is offering $0 delivery fee on “DoorDash orders of $15 or more and $5 off a 20-Slider Crave Clutch when ordered through Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates or Grubhub.” Given all that Halloween fun can create a unsatiable hunger, this food deal is a great offer. While pizza might be a popular Halloween food, that crave case is often a favorite after a long night out.

Could there really be a haunted White Castle restaurant somewhere in the U.S.? Maybe someone could solve that riddle by Halloween 2022.
