Lance Bass and Starbucks launch the Holiday Presence Exchange
For many people, spending time with friends and family is the ultimate holiday gift. This year, the Holiday Presence Exchange, a collaboration between Lance Bass and Starbucks, is a way to make the holidays even more meaningful. Ready to brew up a spirited cup of holiday cheer?
Often the holiday season is filled with to-do lists. From all the shopping to the over-filled calendar, the reality is that the morning mantras can be filled with to the brim with that overwhelming feeling. Even though the idea of gratitude should fill the table, the truth is that other sentiments can overtake the positive. Even though no one wants the grinch-y side of the holidays to appear, the spirited season may not always be simple.
What does Lance Bass say about the Starbucks Holiday Presence Exchange?
For this holiday season, Lance Bass has partnered with Starbucks on a new concept, the Holiday Presence Exchange. Instead of piling the “stuff” high, it is time to fill the cup of togetherness this holiday season.
Bass said, “This year, every moment with our loved ones during the holidays will be even more important, especially since my husband Michael and I are now busy new parents of twins! My favorite part of the holidays is connecting with family and friends over a cup of coffee, which is why I’m partnering with Starbucks on the Holiday Presence Exchange challenge and sharing some of my favorite activities and tips that are easy to do at home to encourage more meaningful connections with your loved ones.”
The campaign is broken into several concepts, including Cheerful Conversations, Joyful Activities and Tips for Presence. Each concept comes with some simple thoughts, ideas and activities to put the happy back into the holidays.
Whether this holiday season is a re-do, a re-imagining or a reflection, it should stand as a reminder that the spirit of the season is more important than the stuff of the season. Even if a few moments of reflecting while brewing that gingerbread coffee serve to be a moment to be present, it might be the gift that everyone needs this holiday season.
As the campaign shares its ideas the Holiday Presence Exchange, feel free to share your own personal experiences and concepts. Sharing memories, joining in conversation and appreciating each other might be the best gift to give and receive this holiday season. That present is never delayed by the supply chain.
What is your favorite holiday activity? How do you plan to stay present this year?
