Milk Bar Holiday Lab drops epic Thanksgiving croissants
While cereal milk and naked cakes always make people’s stomachs grumble, the Milk Bar Holiday Lab is whipping up some creative, delicious holiday treats. These never before seen desserts will have everyone talking. To start the holiday festivities, the one of a kind Thanksgiving croissants kick off the holiday season in the tastiest way.
The Milk Bar Holiday Lab is a simple concept. From the culinary minds of the Milk Bar R&D team, this experimental kitchen looks to push the creativity factor. While these unique offerings might be a little too adventurous for the non-foodie, others will fully embrace the culinary mash-ups.
Now through December 13, Milk Bar Holiday Lab will drop a special holiday treat. Available at 2 p.m. ET every Monday, the limited offering will quickly become the must have holiday treat. Based on the first offering, everyone will be talking about the genius baking minds.
The first launch is Thanksgiving croissants. While the name might sound like a simple side dish, the reality is quite different. For those in the know, their fingers will be hovering over the order button.
The Thanksgiving croissants are described as “An herbed, buttery puff pastry filled with tart cranberry sauce, tender roasted turkey, and saucy gravy.” Yes, it is basically Thanksgiving dinner in a bite. Forget defrosting, basting and the other time consuming cooking requirements. This food offering is the perfect holiday meal on a plate.
Given that the Milk Bar lovingly folds the croissants by hand, everyone can appreciate all those flaky layers. From the combination of flavors to the various textures, this Thanksgiving food might become the most talked about offering of the season.
The Milk Bar Lab Thanksgiving croissants can be purchased online at milkbarstore.com/holidaylab. An 8-pack sells for $80. In addition, the Milk Bar’s NYC and LA Flagships stores have limited quantities available for $9 each.
What do you think the next offerings will be? What holiday treats would you like to see?
