After baking for almost every holiday occasion, the Holiday Baking Championship Season 8 finale is here. With four bakers vying for the Food Network title, only one will unwrap the most coveted holiday present. Which baker should be crowned champion?

According to Food Network, the Holiday Baking Championship Season 8 finale, “Ultimate Holiday Party,” features the following:

"Host Jesse Palmer kicks things off with a swanky Christmas open house for judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Carla Hall and asks the bakers to create dessert charcuterie boards. Then, the bottom two bakers face off in a sudden elimination challenge of dueling holiday pinata desserts. In the final main heat, the competitors take on holiday party theme cakes and incorporate lights into their designs. The most successful cake maker becomes the Holiday Baking Champion and walks away with $25,000!"

Looking at the synopsis, the dessert charcuterie boards are an idea that many people will want to borrow. Although some people might want to buy versus bake the items on their board, the method of crafting the variety of flavors and textures is important.

Thinking of this challenge, the edge might go to Jose. As the flavor guy, not the décor guy, he could shine with this pre-heat challenge. It will be interesting to see if it could be enough to give him an edge.

For the sudden death holiday pinata desserts, this challenge could be the piece of coal that no one wants. Being that close to the finale and coming up short is heart breaking. Hopefully, Sabrina doesn’t end up in this situation. It would be nice to see at least one woman in the finale.

Since the finale piece is a cake, the advantage would seem to go to Adam. Throughout the season, Adam has been one of the bakers to beat. He has found a way to balance flavor and décor. This holiday cake could be his crowning achievement.

At the same time, if Jody is in the final three, he could walk away with the title. But, his success depends on his confidence. Any doubtful moments could be his downfall.

In the end, it could be anyone’s title to win. Be sure to watch the Holiday Baking Championship Season 8 finale on Food Network and streaming on Discovery+.
