While Kinder Joy always adds a little adventure with that sweet treat, its new National Parks partnership is more than just unwrapping a toy. It is an invitation to explore the great outdoors and discover the bounty that is a waiting to be enjoyed.

Kinder Joy has always embraced the idea of fun with food. While one side of that egg holds luscious crème and a crunchy surprise, the other side sparks the imagination with a little toy. From putting the pieces together to tapping into a playful world, a little treat is a gift that keeps on giving.

In collaboration with the National Park Foundation, Kinder Joy is adding 16 new toys that represent North American animals. With encouragement to “Explore the Wild,” families can find ways to both uncover real life and online ways to spark curiosity about nature.

According to Felipe Riera Michelotti, Vice President of Marketing Kinder Joy and Seasonal Products at Ferrero, “As a brand, Kinder Joy is all about surprising experiences and building memories for families.” While that sentiment heartfelt, is it more than just words. Kinder is giving away 500 “America the Beautiful – National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass.”

Michelotti shared, “Our new toy collection is inspired in animals that can be found throughout North America, this is why we are excited to partner with the National Park Foundation and share the same goal of trying to connect as many families as possible to our national parks and wildlife.”

In addition to the toy and treat, the “Explore the Wild” YouTube series serves as a resource for the campaign. From learning activities to just having fun, it shows that food and culture are connected in many ways.

While American wildlife toys might be a small token, there is a bigger conversation in that egg. Brands have come to appreciate that consumers are looking to support brands that align with their values. Fostering a conversation about the National Park Foundation looks to set Kinder Joy apart from other candies on the shelf.

The new Kinder Joy National Foundation eggs are available at various retailers with a suggested retail price of $1.79. The eggs are recommended for ages three and older.
