For many people, Uber and Uber Eats are often one of the most used apps on their devices. From satisfying that food craving to heading out for the night, it is the easy way to get where and what people want. With the new Uber Explore, a taste of adventure is waiting to be had.

Periodically, Uber finds ways to evolve its services. Whether it is stacking stops or scheduling times, each aspect is about making the consumer experience better. When that ease of use is seamless, people come back time and again.

With the new Uber Explore, the company wants people to look beyond just the beginning and ending destination. It is about looking all around to see both the bright lights and the hidden gems.

According to the brand, Uber Explore is a feature in the app that allows users to see recommended places. From restaurants and bars to nightlife to cultural experiences, the cumulative information allows users to see what’s all around.

While this idea might been helpful for tourists, it is just as useful for locals. How often does a local not know about a little hideaway until it appears on the Food Network or is all the rage on social media? Sometimes being an adventurer in your own backyard is quite enjoyable.

Of course, tourists will see a huge benefit for this offering. From the seamless purchases that connect to various events and experiences to one click rides, it is all about opening the door to that willingness to see what is available.

And, the platform will offer some discounts. Available on select locations, the discounts could entice users to make that purchase.

Although many people will want this special experience, it will roll out in just 14 cities. They include “Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Memphis, Minneapolis – St. Paul, New Orleans, New Jersey, Upstate New York, Orlando, San Antonio, San Francisco, Seattle” in the U.S. and Mexico City as an international option. Additional cities and offerings may come in the future.

Isn’t it time to step out of the tried and true and see what is all around? Uber Explore is waiting but everyone has to click the opportunity to embrace the experience.
