Universal Orlando might be rolling with the good times but the iconic fog is ready to roll over the theme park this fall. Halloween Horror Nights 31 dates have just been announced and it is time to make plans with friends. After all, you should never go alone to Halloween Horror Nights.

Considered the highlight of the Halloween season, the annual Halloween Horror Nights blends frights and fun at every corner. From the original tales to adaptations of iconic horror stories, the annual event is always a top choice.

For Halloween Horror Nights 31, the event will be the longest ever. Running from September 2 through October 31, 2022, a record 43 nights, the Universal Orlando event will have everyone screaming for more. Given the huge success of the HHN30, it will be hard for the Universal Orlando creative team to top the return of Jack, the Haunting of Hill House and the other frights lurking in the fog.

In a recent Universal Orlando announcement, Halloween Horror Nights 31 revealed that “10 new, movie-quality haunted houses inspired by everything from cinematic greats to unfathomable original abominations, five scare zones filled with hordes of gruesome creatures lunging from the shadows, and two outrageous live shows that will showcase compelling performances.” Although the exact themes of these attractions have yet to be unveiled, many people are speculating on the potential experiences.

While this annual event is a highlight for horror fans, it isn’t just about the macabre. It is about the overall experience. Of course, there are plenty of reasons to jump and scream, but there are a few laughs along the way. If you have never seen a friend shriek because a scare actor lurked behind her, it is a story to tell years later.

As part of the Halloween Horror Nights 31 announcement, Universal Orlando released packages and ticket prices for the event. From single night tickets to hotel packages to even RIP (VIP) tour options, there are plenty of ways to satisfy those frights.

Even though the Halloween event is all in good fun, there are always a few rules to follow, just like any horror movie. At Halloween Horror Nights 31, they know what will scare you and you better not go alone.
