For generations, M&M’s has been the colorful candy that has been part of every day moments and life’s biggest celebrations. Whether it is sharing that package with a friend or grabbing a handful from the candy bowl, there is always a reason to enjoy that candy. In a recent announcement, M&M’s and Lil Nas X collaborate to show the world that colorful candy connects people in meaningful ways.

Recently, M&M’s has celebrated the diversity that makes the world more exciting. Just like classic candy comes in a rainbow of colors, the people who enjoy that sweet treat are equally as unique. While everyone is encouraged to walk to their own beat, blending those rhythms can make the most beautiful music.

While M&M’s recently paid homage to iconic musical artists and their groundbreaking albums, the music isn’t stopping with those selections. According to a recent company press release, Lil Nas X will be lending his voice to new initiatives.

As Allison Miazga-Bedrick, Mars Wrigley Senior Brand Director said, “Music is one of the most powerful tools to bring people together. Like our iconic M&M’S brand, music sparks nostalgia, memories, and fun and we are thrilled to be able to partner with one of the most trailblazing artists in the world, Lil Nas X, to help us further cement M&M’S role within entertainment.”

Although the exact details of the collaboration have yet to be revealed, it appears that the focus will be on creating a sense of belonging. The sense of inclusion within diversity seems to be a sentiment that more people are learning to appreciate. Even though individuality should never be muted, the vibrancy of all the colors in the bowl can shine brightly.

Whether this collaboration has a upbeat vibe, a mellow undertone or even some contemplated, unusual notes, everyone will be listening to hear what M&M’s and Lil Nas X will be sharing.
