While many people have enjoyed a bottle of his tequila or mezcal, Sammy Hagar has another cocktail brand that is shaking up some beach vibes. The new ready to drink Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co has everyone ready to enjoy some island time. Ready to pop open a can?

The ready to drink canned cocktail market has been surging. Although there will always be a place for beer, wine and even hard seltzers, many people are drawn to the convenience of a canned cocktail. Even though the shelf is full of choices, there is always room for more.

When it comes to picking a canned cocktail, drinkers have a variety of reasons. Sometimes it is flavors, the brand or just a vibe.

The Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co features four sparkling rum cocktails. They are Tangerine Dream, Pineapple Splash, Island Pop and Cherry Kola Chills. Each offering is made with Hagar’s Puerto Rico-made Beach Bar Rum.

Speaking to these new canned cocktails, Hagar shared, “You’ll want to throw these cocktails in a cooler and take them to the beach, your pool party, out tailgating, and your backyard barbeque. They’re so good that they’re even going to be your favorite drink at the local bar.”

Looking at the four flavors, the canned cocktails are a sip of the unexpected. For example, the Pineapple Splash has a slow burn spice from jalapeno. On a hot beach day, the added heat is quite refreshing.

Spice is featured in the Cherry Kola Chill, too. While the sweetness of cherry cola is similar to an old-fashioned beverage, that note of spice adds excitement.

The other flavors, Tangerine Dream and Island Pop bring a touch of nostalgia. While the Tangerine Dream has hints of a Creamsicle, the Island Pop has many people saying “oh yeah” to that Hawaiian fruity flavor.
