Summer fun, a long weekend or just trying to maintain some balance, simple hydration tips can make that recovery day a little smoother. While keeping a water bottle close by is always an easy choice, refill after refill might lead to beverage boredom. Luckily, there are a few ways to revitalize those simple hydration tips.

As the temperatures soar, the fun in the sun hits in a different way. Even though soaking in the pool or diving into the ocean refreshes, hydration is key to keeping the fun as well as making the day after a good one.

Although many people like to sip on a beer, cocktail or other alcoholic beverage during all the festivities, it is best to keep those tipples in check. Alcohol can dehydrate, which isn’t beneficial when the heat is overpowering.

What are some satisfying sippers that bring excitement to some simple hydration tips?

While many people agree with the idea of one water for every other beverage, some people are concerned with drinking empty calories. Although sports drinks provide electrolytes and other ingredients to help maintain that hydration balance, some people want to keep those calories in check.

BODYARMOR LYTE is a great option that is a lower calorie sports drink that brings big flavor without the added extras. While the electrolytes and antioxidants pack a punch, the coconut water adds a luscious mouth feel.

More importantly, the flavors quench any thirst. Choices like Strawberry Lemonade, Peach Mango, Blueberry Pomegranate, and Kiwi Strawberry are familiar yet fun. When the flavors entice, people are more willing to grab an extra bottle.

Sports drinks aren’t the only option. Some people prefer a little carbonation in their beverage. Lemonade is always a popular summer beverage choice. That slight tartness gets people coming back for another sip.

Sparkling Ice recently added to its line with the new Sparkling Ice Caffeine+ Watermelon Lemonade. It brings together two classic summer flavors with a little effervescence. Each serving has just five calories and is zero-sugar.

Lastly, why not combine some bubbles, fruit and fun in a beverage. This idea from Lipton takes that traditional iced tea in a new direction. It is fresh, fruity and fabulous. A touch of brightness from the mint feels like a cool breeze on a hot day.
