While Electric Ocean might captivate summer nights, National Roller Coaster Day is all about the big thrills at SeaWorld Orlando. Although the City Beautiful might be the theme park capital of the world, one locale is staking its claim as the Coaster Capital of Orlando. For guests who love those drops, rolls, and turns, there is only one place to be on August 16.

Even though food and beverages captivate guests at theme parks, many people visit for the thrills. It could be the anticipation of the drop or the free fall feeling. No matter the reason that gets a person strapped into the seat, the experience brings them back time and again.

To celebrate National Roller Coaster Day, SeaWorld Orlando is challenging guests to ride all of the coasters in the park. For accomplishing that feat, guests will receive “a free Quick Que Unlimited pass to use during another visit to SeaWorld Orlando.” To participate, guests must acquire one of the limited lanyards and post about the experience on social media using #CoasterCapital.

Which SeaWorld Orlando coaster would you ride first on National Roller Coaster Day?

Given that SeaWorld Orlando has the most roller coasters than any other local theme park, it makes sense that it would want to celebrate on August 16. Plus, the roller coasters have a variety of thrill levels to cover all the bases.

Whether people want to hit the big thrill first or save up the brave moment for last, the path is their own choosing. Still, everyone will have to ride the following attractions: Ice Breaker, Mako, Manta, Journey to Atlantis, Kraken, Super Grover’s Box Car Derby.

By accomplishing all the rides, guests will get wet, hit extreme highs, tackle the steepest beyond vertical drop and hit 73 miles an hour. It might be best to wait for lunch till after all the twists and turns.

This summer has been a big one for SeaWorld Orlando. From the summer night fun to the return of the Craft Beer Festival, the local theme park is trying to give guests the best value for their money spent. And, with the return of the Howl-O-Scream, the excitement is hitting its peak.
