Howl-O-Scream 2022 has the sirens singing a new spine-chilling song

After the inaugural fear, Howl-O-Scream 2022 will have many guests longing for the light of day because under the darkness of night the siren’s call is even more eerie. With more houses, redesigned scarezones and additional interactive bars, the chilling songs are too hard to resist.

In a recent announcement from SeaWorld Orlando, the full line-up for Howl-O-Scream 2022 was revealed. While last year’s event was a rousing success, many people wondered how the Orlando theme park would up the ante with this year’s event. For Halloween fans, it appears that it is time to trust the creative team and lean into those frights.

The new house for 2022 is Blood Beckoning. Scratch is waiting to lure guests into her realm. Although the premise might seem undaunting, the reality is that her world is one that people may not be able to leave.

The other houses include the All-New “Siren of the Seas.” Also, the creative team has reimagined “Captain’s Revenge—Drowned in Darkness” and “Dead Vines-Root of all Evil.” Lastly, the “Beneath the Ice” has guests longing for a warm respite when they finally escape.

The SeaWorld Orlando scarezones were quite intense last year and the new offerings for 2022 continue that concept. Even though many people were hoping for a less treacherous path, there is no place to hide this year. The scarezones include “Terrors of the Deep,” “Sea of Fear,” “Cut Throat Cove,” and “Captive Cargo.” In addition, “Frozen Terror” has been reimagined and “Deadly Ambush” and “Witchcraft Bayou” will be back, too.

Since all the screaming might have made some guests a little shaken, the interactive, themed bars offered a little diversion during the night. For 2022, SeaWorld Orlando has added a new location, Allura’s on the Rocks. Similar to other mythical creatures, looking too long could turn that cold stare into a permanent gaze.

The other themed bars are Longshoreman’s Tavern, Tormented, Siren’s Last Call and Poison Grotto. The themed cocktails at each location made it necessary to brave the scarezones to sip each specialty beverage.

While there are frights at every turn, the roller coasters will be open. Basically, Howl-O-Scream encourages guests to conquer anything that makes them scream.
