With the stage set in the MasterChef Season 12 finale, only one chef will earn redemption in the grueling culinary competition. Although Christian, Dara, and Michael are ready to put Michelin Star worthy dishes up for judgment, the technique, execution, and precision cannot waiver in this finale three-course meal. Which chef do you think will earn the coveted title?

As part two of the MasterChef Season 12 finale is set to air, the appetizer course has been served to the judges. With three very different culinary points of view, Christian, Dara and Michael seem to be evenly matched. Although all three have varying experience, they appreciate the gravity of the situation. A small mistake is the difference between the title and walking away with nothing.

After the appetizer round, it appears that the three chefs are rather even. While Dara might have had a few missteps, she could recover. It is the cumulative meal, not just one course.

Michael took an unusual approach to his appetizer. Visually stunning, it was slightly perplexing. Still, sometimes questions at the table can leave a diner wanting more.

Christian has stuck to what he knows best, Southern food rich in tradition. That connection to family and memories can serve him well. With food being the universal language, the judges can easily understand his story.
Although anything can happen in the main course and dessert round, the reality is that one element will determine the winner. It all comes down to execution. If a dish is missing an element, if a protein is incorrectly cooked, or a dessert is underbaked, the failure will clear and the title will slip from their grasp.

Predicting a clear favorite is not possible. Throughout this MasterChef season, all three chefs have had highs and lows. But, the judges are looking at this meal, and this meal alone, to award the title. The chefs have to leave it all on the line. Second place is a loss.

The key to winning will be blending execution with creativity. Swinging for the fences can show determination, but a well-conceived dish that is improperly cooked would never leave a restaurant pass.

The key for any of these three chefs to win is clean execution. Although getting Gordon Ramsay to lick a plate is not required, they will want him to go in for a second, third or more bite.

The MasterChef Season 12 finale airs on FOX, Wednesday September 14. Who do you want to see win the MasterChef title?
