The red light seems to have an eerie glow as Krispy Skreme is back for the Halloween season. While the kids might be preparing for the ultimate trick or treat experience, the Haunted House Collection doughnuts bring a little sweetness to the “boo.” When paired with the new seasonal beverage, there will be no toil or trouble this holiday season.

Launch after launch, Krispy Kreme never fails to impress with its limited edition doughnuts. From the whimsy of summertime fun to the first bounty from the orchard, the Original Glazed doughnuts have tasty competition from the seasonal offerings.

With Halloween approaching, many people anxiously awaited this year’s special dozen. Last year, the sweet “skreme” was a boo-tiful surprise and the new offering will have everyone believing that there are no tricks in the dozen box.

As Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Skreme said, “A Krispy Skreme Halloween is more about sharing than scaring, and with Scary Sharies each Saturday we make it easy to ‘boo’ a neighbor with the best treat going. And when fans open the door on our haunted house custom box, they’ll ‘skreme’ with delight at all-new doughnuts that are perfect for celebrating everything that’s sweet about Halloween.”

What are the Krispy Skreme Haunted House Collection doughnuts for 2022?

For this year’s Haunted House Collection, there are four special flavors. They are Spooky Spider Doughnut, Scaredy Cat Doughnut, Boo Batter Doughnut and Neon Orange Sprinkle Doughnut.

The Neon Orange Sprinkle Doughnut will capture the kids’ attention. That brightly colored sprinkle mix will make a big impression on the plate.

For chocolate lovers, the Spooky Spider Doughnut will be the top choice. The Original Glazed Doughnut gets a chocolate icing covering. Then it is smothered with cookies pieces, an icing spider web and a decorative spider sugar piece.

Although the name might be a little frightful, the Boo Batter Doughnut is quite delightful. Featuring the always popular cake batter filling, the neon green icing and ghost sugar piece might have a few people thinking of their favorite slimy ghost.

Lastly, the Sacredly Cat Doughnut will make pur-fect sense for the Halloween season. The purple and green doughnut might not exactly look like everyone’s favorite feline, but it is a treat nonetheless.

In addition to the Haunted House Collection doughnuts, Krispy Skreme is offering a new seasonal beverage, Freaky Frozen Chiller. It is green apple beverage with wild grape flavors and a green apple drizzle. This spooky sip might cast its wicked spell on coffee lovers.

The Krispy Skreme Haunted House Collection doughnuts are available now for a limited time.
