SeaWorld Entertainment set to launch three new coasters in 2023
Whether it is the roller coaster capital of Florida or the delights of the West Coast, SeaWorld Entertainment is ready to make 2023 full of intense thrills. With three new coasters waiting to be unveiled, soaring high above the sky is just as important as the wonders beneath the water. Which thrill ride will get your heart pounding?
Thrill rides are big business for theme parks. While many people will always have their favorite ride, the newer offerings entice people to get that first scream as the drop thrusts them into the unknown. When that excitement hits just right, it brings them back time and again.
Now that more people are ready and willing to pack their bags for the next great adventure, theme park attendance continues to increase. From people visiting for the first time to guests who come back time and again to experience those favorite attractions, the reality is that people want to get off the couch and experience life.
What new coasters will SeaWorld Entertainment debut in 2023?
All three SeaWorld Entertainment theme parks will be adding new attractions in 2023. Each new attraction looks to be a unique offering within the theme park space. Some people might plan a trip around that ride’s debut.
Coming to SeaWorld Orlando is Pipeline: The Surge Coast. As the World’s First Surf Coaster, the concept is said to mimic the movement of riding the wave. In more of a vertical riding position, the rider twists, turns and even will hang ten upside down in this adventure. With five airtime movements, it might be the most thrilling experience in Orlando.
Given that there is not another standing position thrill ride in Orlando, it makes the attraction unique. Although it might not be the same as the surf over in Cocoa Beach, it is an experience that could have people feeling the rush of the wave.
SeaWorld San Diego takes riders on a chilly adventure. Artic Rescue uses a snowmobile style seat to give guests an immersive experience through a series of banks and turns. Leaving the Wild Artic exhibit behind, the adventure is one that will leave a lasting impression.
Lastly, SeaWorld San Antonio will add Catapult Falls. Upon its completion, this attraction is set to be the tallest flume drop in Texas as well as North America’s only vertical lift flume coaster. From a 37 mile per hour drop to the rocking the water track, riders will have a little unexpected at each turn. For those prepared to get wet, this experience will leave them waiting more.
While the exact opening dates have not been revealed. SeaWorld Entertainment did state that Annual Passholders will have first and exclusive ride times available.
It is time to start preparing for the next great adventure and SeaWorld Entertainment has the thrill rides that will have everyone screaming for more.
