While the floor is bustling with a cacophony of bells, a vibrant corner of the casino beckons with a promise of the sweetest reward. Dominique Ansel Caesars Palace opened its doors, and the response was swift. From the iconic Cronut to the new Lucky 7 Collection, the celebrated pastry chef entices the Las Vegas crowds with the most delicious treats.

As the only West Coast location, the new Dominique Ansel Caesars Palace brings together some of the chef’s favorite offerings and a selection of exclusive Las Vegas menu items. Even though the Lucky 7 Collection might not guarantee hitting the jackpot at the table, the flavor and stunning visuals are a win for any dessert lover.

On Friday, October 21, the newest Caesars Palace restaurant opened its doors. Guests anxiously waited as the ribbon was cut by Chef Ansel, Caesars Entertainment Regional President Sean McBurney and Vice President & Assistant General Manager of Caesars Palace Terrence O’Donnell Jr. While the first 100 guests received a special gift and over 300 patrons raved over the perfectly flaky croissants, the delectable signature DKA, and the various other desserts that lined the pastry case.

While Caesars Palace has a robust selection of culinary offerings, this new restaurant fills a particular niche, a sweet-centric experience. Joining the other celebrity chef restaurants, this offering gives guests an opportunity to have a small bite to start their day, end the night on a sweet note, or just indulge whenever they please.

What is the first Cronut flavor at Dominique Ansel Caesars Palace?

As one of Chef Ansel’s signature menu items, the first Cronut flavor for the Las Vegas location is Lucky Cherry Chambord and Caramelia. Given that Chef Ansel has never repeated a flavor, this one for the launch has a nod to those cherries often seen on the slot machines. The flavor combines “cherry Chambord jam and Valrhona Caramelia (caramelized milk chocolate) ganache.” These fillings contrasting the flakey layers is a flavor jackpot.

Similar to his other restaurants, the Lucky Cherry Chambord and Caramelia Cronut will be available just for one month. After November 30, a new flavor will take over.

While many people will want to enjoy the Lucky 7 Collection, the classic Ansel treats cannot be overlooked. From the Frozen S’mores that are toasted to guests’ preferences to the popular cookie shot, the robust menu has a treat that will satisfy each and every sweet craving.

For those looking for a savory option, there is a Perfect Little Egg Sandwich, Spinach Gruyere Quiche, and Chef’s Croque Monsieur. In addition, there is a selection of beverages, cookies, and other items.

Dominique Ansel Caesars Palace is open daily from 7 a.m. till 9 p.m. It is located next to Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill in Caesars Palace Las Vegas.
