New Arby’s Diablo Loaded Fries adds heat to the Diablo Dare fiery flavor

The fire is back at Arby’s and a new challenge is on the table. While the sandwiches sparked a heated food debate, the new Diablo Loaded Fries bring the conversation to a whole new level. How many bites will be enjoyed before taking that sip of relief?

When Arby’s launched the Diablo Dare, many people were up for the food challenge. Given that a small vanilla shake was just a sip of relief away, even the slightly spice adverse were willing to take that bite. Now, the challenge is back but with a slightly different twist.

As Jim Taylor, President of Arby’s said, “Arby’s fans loved the Diablo Dare sandwiches so much, we knew we just had to bring it back. And this time we’ve added a spicy new sidekick in the form of our delicious Diablo Loaded Fries. If you are a spice lover, you owe it to yourself to give these a try!”

The Arby’s Diablo Dare has two sandwich options, a crispy chicken and a new roast beef sandwich. Each sandwich amplifies the flavor with fiery hot seasoning, fire-roasted jalapeños, Diablo BBQ sauce and a toasted red chipotle bun. While the melted cheddar can temper the flames, the reality is that the bold flavor is front and center. In reality, it is the fiery hot seasoning that is the lingers and has some people wishing for relief.

Still, these sandwiches may not be quite as extreme as some fiery food challenges. It is more than spice for just spiciness. Sometimes a little extra flavor in between the bun is warranted.

Truthfully, the Diablo Fries might be the bigger challenge. While the fries are topped with a cheddar cheese sauce, it does not overpower the fire roasted jalapeños, fiery seasoning, and Diablo BBQ sauce. In some ways, those fries seem to make the sauce even more powerful.

Since many people may want the shake either as relief or reward, the challenge has been amplified. To get the free small shake, guests will have to order a Diablo sandwich and loaded fries. After all, it wouldn’t be a real challenge if the stakes weren’t raised each time.
