The data shows that 88% of coffee is brewed to this size. Even though Puerto Rico and Washington DC prefer the 8 oz variety, it is a rousing statement that 12 oz is the size to beat.

Still, the bigger statement that coffee drinkers are opting for caramel could be an interesting food trend. Although regular coffee will always be poured, it might be a little too simplistic for some people’s tastes. That caramel flavor offers a hint of different without going too far outside of the mug.
