For some people, as soon as their head hits the pillow, a blissful slumber awaits. Others might stare at the ceiling longing for that elusive dreamland. With Sweet Dreams cereal, Post Consumer Brands hopes to pour a flavorful and satisfying conversation on promoting a better night’s sleep.

Some people have a particular nighttime routine. Whether they religiously avoid the blue glow from the smart device or can easily clear their mind of the daily clutter, the journey to go from awake to sleep seems to be easy. Although everyone might have a method that works for them, those people who toss, turn, and lie awake are often looking for that tip, trick, or option that can help bring a more soothing nighttime experience.

As reported by Post Consumer Brands, over half of American adults find sleep elusive. While there can be many reasons for that number, the bleareyed eyed morning can make the day appear a little less happy. From grabbing beverages for that morning boost or another option to wipe away the tiredness, it appears that the day could be more pleasant if there was more shut eye at night.

The new Sweet Dreams cereal looks to help promote a better night’s sleep. According to Logan Sohn, Senior Brand Manager, “More than ever, consumers are looking to embrace acts of self-care, particularly as it relates to bedtime routines and we believe a relaxing bedtime routine is key to a good night’s sleep. As a brand that’s been helping early-risers crush their morning routines for over 100 years, we’re thrilled to now help fans also establish healthy nighttime habits by providing a nutrient dense before-bed snack made to support a sleep routine they could only dream of until now.”

What is Sweet Dreams cereal?

Available in two flavors, Blueberry Midnight and Honey Moonglow, the two names sound similar to some of those nighttime teas that can be in some people’s pantries. These particular cereals were designed with special ingredients to help “support natural melatonin production.” Combining whole grains, a nighttime herbal blend and vitamins and minerals, the cereal looks to help bring those “zzzs” to the bedroom.

While the ingredients are helpful, consumers want a cereal that tastes good. Luckily, the two flavors deliver. In the Blueberry Midnight, the combination of blueberry, lavender, and chamomile is bright yet calming. If someone had made a tea of this combination, it would be a huge hit. Without being too herbal, the cereal is a lovely way to end the day.

For people who prefer a slightly sweeter taste to end the day, the Honey Moonglow will be their preference. The combination of honey, vanilla, lavender, and chamomile feels very soothing. With just a touch of sweetness, the cereal is a great alternative to another cookies and milk before bed.

The Sweet Dreams cereal is available at various retailers. More information on stores and the Post Consumer Brands cereal can be found online.
