Many people can agree, bland food is boring. While a properly seasoned dish might start in the kitchen, some people prefer to bring more flavor by pouring a favorite condiment on top of that food. From tangy to extreme spice, the spectrum of flavor is diverse. The new Tingly Ted’s from Kraft Heinz and Ed Sheerin looks to be that new condiment that has everyone singing its praises.

According to Kraft Heinz, the hot sauce category looks to grow to $5.4 billion by 2027. Whether it is a craving for heat, global flavors, or something else, many tables have at least one bottle within reach.

Although there is a surge in this hot sauce food popularity, not everyone offering is the same. Even if one brings the heat, it might not be as thick as some people prefer. Unless home cooks are crafting and bottling their own sauces, there can be a compromise with that dash of flavor.

The new Tingly Ted’s from Kraft Heinz and Ed Sheerin brings a savory, flavorful condiment with a more viscous consistency, similar to ketchup. Given that Sheerin is a die-hard Heinz ketchup fan, this collaboration had to be so good it would have him grabbing a new bottle off the shelf.

As Sheerin commented, “I wanted to make a sauce that took the same pride of place as ketchup. I had a year of whittling down the perfect flavours with a great mixing team, and we settled on two absolute belters. The Tingly and the Xtra Tingly. I’ve had them on tour with me recently to try them with all sorts of meals, and there really isn’t anything they don’t go with (except bananas, don’t do that).”

Although it might not be a condiment for bananas, it seems to have a lot of versatility. The ‘Xtra Tingly is made with red jalapeno and capsicum chillies. The flavor should have a kick but not overwhelm the palate. From burgers to fries to maybe even a fish sandwich, there are a multitude of uses.

This product collaboration pushes the Kraft Heinz brand into another avenue. As the brand has shown with various launches, innovation with both flavors and brand partnerships keeps the offerings from ever becoming stale.

The Tingley Ted’s sauces will be available worldwide. The sauces can be pre-ordered online.
