While many people thirst for those Slushies and crave that perfectly cooked burger, the sides complete the meal. That tangy flavor can both complement and contrast the other flavors on the plate. With the new Sonic BBQ Chip Seasoned Tots, many people are celebrating the tot-tastic flavor.
Sonic has always looked to surprise and delight its fan base. From regionally inspired special menu items to bold flavors, America’s drive-in is always looking forward. Although some people might feel that the brand nailed its pickle inspired offerings, the other side dishes often set the quick service restaurant apart from others.

Thinking about this new menu item, no other quick service restaurant has attempted a BBQ flavored potato offering. While have been garlic fries, that salty, tangy flavor sets this side dish apart from other others. Although many people might dip fries in barbecue sauce, this concept is different. It is about seasoned potatoes that can be enjoyed in various ways.
While the BBQ Chips Seasoned Tots are sold as a side dish, some guests might want to use them as a topping to a burger, chicken sandwich, or even a Coney. That tangy flavor on top of a burger eliminated the need for sauce but adds a layer of complexity and texture. It might be a big bite, but it is one that is totally worth the lean in eating method.
The new Sonic BBQ Chips Seasoned Tots are available starting on February 27. Sonic App users can get an early sample starting on February 20. This limited time menu item will be gone April 30, or while supplies last.
