Baskin-Robbins describes the flavor “buttermilk waffle flavored ice cream with plenty of crispy chick’n and waffle flavored bites drizzled in a decadent bourbon maple syrup flavored swirl.” To be clear, there is no chicken actually in this ice cream. It is just the flavor that is mixed into the pint.
After having the opportunity to try this ice cream flavor, the big burst of flavor comes from the bourbon maple syrup swirl. That sweetness contrasting the savory notes of the chick’n and waffle bits makes for an enjoyable bite. With the slightly tangy buttermilk waffle flavored ice cream, it hits all the flavor notes It might not exactly be the same as the brunch dish, but a spoonful will bring back those memories of trying the dish for the first time.
