Hopping down the bunny trail might seem effortless for the Easter bunny, but his helpers might find the annual event a little more cumbersome. Although kids might hunger for those chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, and other sweet treats, no one wants to overspend. Luckily, Target has plenty of under $5 Easter basket offerings that will have everyone jumping for joy.

Easter and candy go hand in hand. Although decorating eggs might take a back seat this year, no one wants to forgo those sweet treats. Even though some people cannot miss an opportunity to have those Reese’s peanut butter eggs or maybe those PEEPS, there are plenty of other treats that can fill the Easter basket.

According to Rick Gomez, Target’s Chief Food and Beverage Officer, “Target shines during special seasonal moments because we’re committed to helping our guests discover joy at an exceptional value. That’s why I’m so excited about what we have planned for Easter – including an assortment of basket builders, all priced under $5, and stocked with some of the new and delicious Favorite Day treats we’ve introduced right in time for holiday celebrations.”

What are some Target Favorite Day under $5 Easter basket offerings?

Certain candy themes seem to fill the Easter basket year after year. The Target Favorite Day items fall under those categories. With 30 new items for Easter and Spring, there is something that will entice a purchase.

For example, the Favorite Day Easter Bunny Bark has that classic shape, but is not that old fashioned hallow bunny. The fun confetti colors make a big statement in that basket. The Favorite Day Easter Bunny Bark with Belgian Milk Chocolate is just $1.49.

Another bunny option is the Favorite Day Easter Cookies N Cream Sitting Bunny. The cookies and cream flavor brings an extra sweetness to the conversation. This bunny is just $2.

While the specialty seasonal shapes have appeal, there are other items with a slightly more sophisticated approach. For example, the Favorite Day Easter Pretzel Cruncher Milk Chocolate Caramel with Pink Drizzle and Pastel Nonpareils would be perfect as a snack item for the buffet table. The sweet and salty snack is delightful on its own or even tastier when served over ice cream.

These under $5 Easter basket offerings are just a small sample of all the items. These and more options can be found online or in stores.
