While celebrities will be walking the champagne colored carpet at this year’s Academy Awards event, viewers at home may want to recreate a little glitz and glamour of their own. Although the dress code for the couch might be a little more lax than the carpet, the reality is that the line for the bar should be shorter. With these Oscars themed cocktails, everyone wins with delicious sippers.

One cocktail trend that both mixologists and home cocktail lovers appreciate is a great garnish. It is more than just a simple twist or a stuffed olive. A little extra whimsy in the glass can make that cocktail taste even better.

The Glenlivet is taking on the popcorn garnish trend with this Best in Pour cocktail. While the cocktail’s color does sparkle, that golden popcorn completes the experience. And, if you do not have gold dusted popcorn, that’s ok. Regular popcorn can work, just avoid cheese flavored.

While the champagne might be flowing, some people may prefer to have a non-alcoholic beverage. Sometimes referred to as the champagne of soda, consider having some Canada Dry on hand.

From the traditional Canada Dry to the Bold flavor, the ginger ale can be transformed into a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. Beyond that Shirley Temple, there can be ways add a little extra pizzazz to that glass.

Sometimes the nominated movies are serve as inspiration for the cocktails served. With this one from Bombay Sapphire Gine, Hair of the Hound Dog might have some people shaking their hips. Luckily, it is zesty and fun, which captures the Elvis music one sip at a time.

As one of the most talked about movies of the season, Everything Everywhere All at Once should walk away with many awards during the telecast. Although the multiverse can be confusing for some, this Googly Eyes cocktail is one that draws people into its uniqueness. Plus, the interesting garnish is one that will have everyone talking.

And, for anyone who just wants to toast the glamour of the event, the Rosa Regale – Glitz + Glamor Spritz feels like old Hollywood. While the coupe glass feels like the 1920s, this cocktail could be served in another vessel. Plus, for anyone who loves an Aperol Spritz, this cocktail is a nice twist.
