Denny’s gives It’s Diner Time a flavorful update with twists on favorite menu items

While America’s Diner might be part of the classic restaurant food landscape, the favorite menu items can sometimes need a little extra pizzazz. What are some of Denny’s new menu items?

Certain Denny’s menu items are iconic. From those fluffy pancakes to the Moons Over My Hammy, people know that these favorite bites will always be there waiting. With the new menu items, the familiar gets a little twist.

For example, now there is a Spicy Moons Over My Hammy. With spicy chorizo and pickled jalapenos, the kick of heat can get the temperatures rising. At the same time, it does not blow out the palate. It is approachable, yet exciting.

Another twist on a favorite is the new Red, White and Blue Pancakes. Blueberry pancakes are topped with fresh strawberries and cream cheese icing. Perfectly satisfying any time of day, these pancakes are paired with eggs, hashbrowns and bacon or sausage.

For a hearty menu items, the Mac N’ Brisket Sizzlin’ Skillet contrasts the smoky barbecue flavor with creamy mac n’ cheese. Topped with beer-battered onion rings, it is like the main dish and side combined in a single bite.

When grandma’s lasagna isn’t available, the new Denny’s Oven-Based Lasagna can be a tasty substitute. The beef and four cheese lasagna is smothered in an Italian sausage and beef meat sauce. Topped with Wisconsin provolone cheese, it is a little slice of heaven.
