Some people order a few extras for breakfast the next morning. Now, it seems that Popeyes is bringing the biscuits to the dessert course.

The new Popeyes Strawberry Biscuits have fruity strawberry bits mixed into the batter and then topped with a creamy icing. The combination of the savory, buttery biscuit and the sweet fruit and icing hits the perfect balance of flavors.

Thinking about this new dessert option, it might be even better if enjoyed at home. Adding some extra fresh strawberries on top with a dollop of whipped cream or even turning the biscuits into a layered dessert with ice cream, fruit, or a variety of other items.

The new Popeyes Strawberry Biscuits will be sold in one, two or four piece. The new dessert offering will be available for a limited time.

In addition to the new Strawberry Biscuits, Popeyes is introducing a new Family Feast. This menu item includes “six pieces of Popeyes signature chicken in classic or spicy, two sandwiches in classic or spicy, two large sides, and four biscuits.” Basically, it is enough food to ensure that everyone is happy. Also, the Big Box returns to the menu. Priced at $6.99, the Big Box offers “eight-piece chicken nuggets made with white meat, or the classic two-pieces of signature bone-in chicken, alongside two regular sides and one biscuit.” Given all the food included in this offering, it might be one of the better quick service restaurant value meals.
