Hendrick’s Cucumber Milk changes both the cocktail and breakfast conversation

Many gin and tonic fans know that the Hendrick’s Gin features cucumber. That bright, refreshing flavor should not be limited to just the cocktail glass. Now, Hendrick’s Cucumber Milk might be joining the breakfast table. Ready to shake up the milk conversation?

Some food fans might remember the big trend of milking cucumbers. Like many TikTok sensations, it had people talking. It may not have been a new foof find, but the short video clips made it feel shiny and new.

At the same time, alternative milks are a real food conversation. If anyone had said that 20 years ago, almonds, oats and more would be sitting next to that whole milk from a cow, it might have been a head scratcher.

But, food lovers appreciate that innovation is key to keeping food from becoming boring. Whether it is using plants to make milk to even growing a meatball from a wholly mammoth, the possibilities of thinking outside of the cartoon can be exciting.

The new, very, very limited edition Hendrick’s Cucumber Milk could be the way for some people to have a creative way to add more color to their morning routing. From the latte to even some overnight oats, the possibilities are many.

Just to be clear, there is no gin in this cucumber milk. It is also dairy free, and the brand says that it is fruit-based. It is not available in stores and it might be gone before you know it.

To inspire people to make that first pour, Hendrick’s asked some of its ambassadors to create recipes using the cucumber milk. Check out these recipes.

Iced Hendrick’s Cucumber Milk & Matcha Latte

Ingredients:

  • 8 parts Hendrick’s Cucumber Milk
  • 1 tsp Matcha Powder
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 Dash Vanilla Extract

Method:

  • In a tall glass or bowl, whisk together all ingredients until smooth and frothy. Pour into an ice-filled glass and enjoy.

Hendrick’s Cucumber Milk Punch

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Hendrick’s Gin
  • 2-1/4 parts Hendrick’s Cucumber Milk
  • 1 part Heavy Cream
  • 3/4 part Simple Syrup

Method:

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Fine strain over a large ice cube in a punch glass. Garnish with a cucumber wheel.

Hendrick’s Cucumber-Mango Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup Hendrick’s Cucumber Milk
  • 1/3 cup Plain Yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 tbs Ground Flaxseed
  • 2 tsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 Pinch each of salt and cinnamon
  • Top with diced cucumber and mango

Method:

  • Combine ingredients in a small jar. Seal the jar and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, just open, stir and top with diced cucumber and mango.

While the Hendrick’s Cucumber Milk might not be available in stores, or available at all, it might be a prediction of the future. Could cucumber be the next type of milk joining oats on the self?
