Looking across the tequila shelf, the space is crowded. From celebrity endorsements to well-known names, choosing one brand over another should come with an explanation of flavor, craftmanship, and attention to detail. When a plant-first approach is desired, it is time to open a bottle of Casa Azul Organic Tequila.

Some people might know the name Casa Azul from its ready to drink offerings. While the brand might have disrupted that market with its unique approach to the RTD category, it is ready to open another bottle in its story.

The Casa Azul Organic Tequila focuses on putting the plant first. Focusing on a single estate approach, the terminology might make drinkers think of an elevated scotch or a well-respected wine. Like any chef appreciates, a great final product is only as good as its ingredients.

As Lance Collins said, “We love sharing moments with our friends over an amazing Tequila. We wanted to ensure that we stay committed to crafting Tequila the right way, honoring the traditions from farm to bottle.”

To give the tequila launch a boost, the brand partnered with Mexican born actress, Eiza González. She said, “As a Mexican woman, Tequila is a deep part of my culture and heritage. It was important for me not to be just another celebrity face of a brand, but to partner with a family-led business that celebrates modern Mexico and gives back to my people. After learning Lance’s incredible track record in the industry and spending time with the multi-generational family that owns the farm and distillery in Mexico, it was clear I found a brand that loves and respects Tequila and Mexican culture like me.”

Looking at the Casa Azul Organic Tequila, the liquor has no additives in the final product. It celebrates true flavor. Through its distillation process and craft, the resulting tequila is rounded, smooth, drinkable with a soft character. Easily drunk on its own, any of the offerings will delight both the tequila lover and the person who wants to discover what tequila should be. It is definitely time to add one of these bottles to the shelf.

Casa Azul Organic Tequila is launching in select markets with a larger distribution later in the year. The offerings are Casa Azul Organic Blanco, Casa Azul Organic Reposado, and Casa Azul Organic Añejo. Prices have a suggested range of $69 to $129 a bottle.
