Taco Bell fans get to write their place in hot sauce packet history
Over the past several years, Taco Bell fans have learned that they voice has power. Whether it is the return of the beloved Mexican Pizza or other favorite menu items have a second run, the popular quick service restaurant brand is always listening, hearing, and adapting to what people crave. With the latest promotion, it is time for people to write some hot sauce packet history.
From filling the bottom of the bag to handing a specially worded one to that dining companion, the Taco Bell hot sauce packets are more than just any condiment. While it is a flavor booster, it is more than just a drizzle on that chalupa.
Over the years, the image has been transformed into all type of food fashion. From Halloween costumes to accessories, even a glance from afar has people instantly recognizing that image.
While the colors can denote the sauce’s spice level, it is often the phrase on the packet that people covet. It is curious that a few words can make a connection unlike any other. Now, it is time to rewrite hot sauce packet history.
The five hot sauce packets, Mild, Hot, Fire, Diablo and Breakfast Salsa, will be getting some new phrases. Starting today, Rewards Members can vote on the new sayings.
As Taylor Montgomery, US Chief Marketing Officer said, “Taco Bell is no stranger to giving fans the ability and power to impact our brand. We recognize the role that these hot sauce packets have played in people’s lives. There’s no better way to foster brand love than by giving our biggest fans a unique opportunity to leave their own mark on and be a part of Taco Bell history.”
What are the potential new Taco Bell hot sauce packet sayings?
According to quick service restaurant brand, each of the five hot sauces had three potential new Taco Bell hot sauce packet sayings. Options include Mild “All love here,” Hot “it’s a secret,” Fire, “don’t think, just do,” Diablo “If you won’t, I will,” and Breakfast “Morning person.” The highest performing sayings will be shared on July 24.
While some people might want to create their own saying, these options capture the moment and the sentiment. It might not be as iconic as Double Dare You, but is a way to spark a moment around the table. It might not be Paris Hilton saying, it’s hot, but everyone should have their own catchphrase.
The new phrases are part of a bigger makeover for the Taco Bell hot sauce packets. Coming in 2024, those condiments will be getting a whole new look.
