Papa Johns Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust brings triple the garlic flavor

Eating pizza crust can divide people around the table. When that crust is stuffed, there may not be that leftover piece on the plate. For garlic lovers, the new Papa Johns Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust might have people eating the slice crust side first.

Throughout the summer, tons of pizza news has been tossed around. While some brands have gone spicy and others have highlighted a divisive pizza topping and beverage pairing, the reality is that the majority of people enjoy a great slice. More importantly, flavor usually drives that purchase.

By combining our signature dough and adding garlic in – and on- our Epic Stuffed Crust pizza, we’ve created a whole new culinary experience while delivering two fan favorites for the ultimate stuffed crust pizza.”

The Papa Johns Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust is the third version of a stuffed crust pizza by the brand. Following the success of cheese and pepperoni, this garlic centric offering has triple the garlic flavor, in and on the crust and with a Special Garlic Dipping Sauce.

The new stuffed crust is available for Papa Rewards members now. Everyone can order this flavor starting on July 31. A one-topping pizza is $13.99.

In addition, this special stuffed crust flavor is getting a spicy upgrade. The Spicy Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust features a sprinkle of chili flakes and Spicy Garlic Sauce. This bold flavor will be available starting August 21.

While food brands are constantly competing for purchases, it is interesting that Papa Johns decided to focus on a garlic forward option. In some ways, this option allows guests to stay with their favorite pizza toppings but enjoy a twist on the classic order. It could entice more orders as opposed to a very specific flavor that only targets a limited audience.
