2023 SeaWorld Orlando Howl-O-Scream has the sinister sirens expanding the terror tirade
Halloween and horror events are big business for the theme park world. Going into its third year, the 2023 SeaWorld Orlando Howl-O-Scream event might have people unable to step into the darkness for nights to come. From haunted houses to scare zones, there is no escaping this terrifying world.
In the Orlando area, Halloween events are both family friendly and extreme scares. SeaWorld has never shied away from the screams. From the characters lurking in the scare zones to the haunted houses that prey on people’s fears, these original concepts have people fearing the unexpected as much as the horror. Unlike the stories that have been seen on the screen time and again, the originality is the fright that leaves a mark.
In a recent announcement from the Orlando theme park, the 2023 SeaWorld Orlando Howl-O-Scream features four new scare zones, three brand new houses, and five sirens who are still warning guests of the ultimate peril. In total, the event includes 7 scare zones, 5 haunted houses, and a multitude of rides. In addition, the theme park will offer special food and beverage options.
New this year is the D3LER1UM666 Laboratories. While the lab might be able to develop a solution to the world’s problems, those scientists can be misguided. Other new themes include BENEATH THE ICE – The Meltdown and DEAD VINES: Nawlin’s Nightmare. The Bayou theme might be much scarier than any zombie-fied land.
Since all that heart stopping screams can make a person hungry, food options include Vampire Burger, Bloody Rids, Dead Flesh, and The Ofrenda. In addition, the interactive bars are back. The best place to take a break from the frights is at the Longshoremen Tavern. A few jovial moments can strength anyone’s resolve to manage their way through the twists and turns of the evening.
The 2023 SeaWorld Orlando Howl-O-Scream event runs from September 8 through October 31. More information on tickets, hours, and pricing can be found online.
