Panera’s Cinnamon Crunch Latte becomes the must have breakfast sandwich
Sweet and savory food flavors are a fall signature and Panera’s Cinnamon Crunch Latte is back in two forms. While that warm beverage is comforting, the classic flavors are transformed into a must have breakfast sandwich. It looks like a new food order is waiting to be enjoyed.
Similar to the PSL craze, many people cannot get enough of the warm, satisfying cinnamon flavors. While the Panera seasonal latte is a favorite, the iconic Cinnamon Crunch Bagel has a loyal following, too. According to the brand, the sweet bagel sells approximately 85,000 orders a day and over half a million orders a week.
When Panera transformed that favorite bagel into a latte, many people jumped for joy. For this year, the favorite, iconic Cinnamon Crunch Latte returns on August 30.
Even though many people can fondly recall that first sip, the latte combines Panera’s espresso with foamed milk and cinnamon flavored syrup. Topped with whipped cream and the infamous Cinnamon Crunch topping, the flavor is sweet and comforting. Plus, the latte can be enjoyed hot or cold, which is important for people who haven’t had a break from the heat wave.
This year, the love of cinnamon crunch is being celebrated with a new breakfast sandwich. Using the Cinnamon Crunch Bagel as the base, it is filled with black forest ham, scrambled egg, and aged white cheddar cheese.
The combination of sweet and savory hits in the best possible way. The contrast of the sweet crunch with the salty cheddar makes for a delightful balance. Even though some restaurants have brought back bagels or have highlighted French toast sandwiches, this new menu item gives Panera fans what they want. Their favorite bagel stacked full with a hearty bite.
MyPanera Members can get a first taste of the new breakfast sandwich on August 29. It will join the regular menu on August 30.
At Panera, the seasonal flavor is sweet and savory. No need to forage that patch. Warm, sweet cinnamon is the fall flavor that always satisfies.
