Enlightened’s first-ever guitar-shaped ice cream bar helps fight hunger

Sometimes a sweet dessert hits all the right notes. The first-ever guitar-shaped ice cream bar from Enlightened, in partnership with Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands (AWMH), looks to make a difference one lick at a time.

Many people have a box or two of Enlightened frozen desserts at home. Embracing the idea that feel good desserts do not have to totally derail a balanced, healthy eating lifestyle, the food company wants to give people choices. From Keto friendly to Greek Yogurt options, the case is well-stocked with frozen delights that satisfy a sweet tooth.

Although many people appreciate a simple scoop in a bowl, a fun shape gets people’s attention. Who hasn’t ordered a character shaped ice cream bar because it made them smile? It does not have to be as extreme as a “is it cake” moment, but a fun looking dessert can make that first bite taste even better.

The first-ever guitar-shaped ice cream bar hits store shelves on September 6. The collaboration between Enlightened and Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands (AWMH), will help support food banks.

The frozen dessert features vanilla ice cream surrounded by dark chocolate. Shaped to look like ESP Truckster, a James Hetfield Signature Series line guitar. Enlightened worked with ESP Guitars to ensure the bar had an authentic look.

The first-ever guitar shaped ice cream from Enlightened and All Within My Hands hits store shelves starting September 6 for limited time. The box of four bars has a suggested retail price of $6.99.
