While the popular quick service restaurant always has the meats, the new Arby’s Big Game Burger is a game changer for the brand. This walk on the wild game side brings a flavorful twist on the burger conversation.

Over the past several years, Arby’s has pushed the envelope with its choice of meat in its burgers. While some restaurant brands look to the pub menu for inspiration, Arby’s finds a way to bring elevated ingredients to a broader audience. Who doesn’t remember the wagyu burger?

In 2017, Arby’s introduced a venison sandwich. The new Big Game Burger is an extension of that previous offering.

The burger combines venison, elk, and ground beef. The patty is topped with crispy onions, pickles, and Swiss cheese. What sets this burger apart is the dark cherry steak sauce. Cherry and venison are a common pairing since the sweetness can cut through the gaminess of the venison. For a QSR, this cherry steak sauce is a game changer.

As Ellen Rose, Chief Marketing Officer of Arby’s said, “Arby’s has always been known for our meat expertise, and we’re taking it to the next level – literally – with our new Big Game Burger’s one-of-a-kind blend. We’re dedicated to crafting unique culinary experiences for our guests, and we hope the Big Game Burger and the immersive Hike-Thru experience allow our fans to tap into their sense of wild adventure – in our restaurants and on the trail.”

To celebrate the new Arby’s Big Game Burger, a select few can join the Arby’s Hike-Thru on The Big Game Burger Trail on September 12. The Colorado Rockies experience will be available on a first come, first served basis. As the guide takes guests along that journey, they will not only experience the beauty of the surroundings but also have the opportunity to enjoy some food and beverages along the way.

More information and how to obtain tickets for the Hike-Thru can be found at www.arbyshikethru.com. And, for those people who are not in the area for the special event, they can enjoy their own version by grabbing some Big Hike Thru merchandise. From jackets to hats to water bottles, all the items can be purchased at the same website.

The Arby’s Big Game Burger hits restaurants on September 12. It will be available for a limited time.
