A sweet gift has arrived before the holiday season. Baileys Chocolate Liqueur pours a new conversation with the classic liqueur. It is time to put down the fork and pick up a glass for that dessert course.

Many people turn to Baileys Irish Cream has the sweet sip that transforms cocktails, coffee, and even dessert. While the brand has offered flavor variations over the years, the newest offering puts the sweetness front and center. More importantly it invites a playfulness that draws people to pour and pour again.

Speaking to the newest flavor offering, Milly Shome, Director of Baileys & Liqueurs, DIAGEO North America, said, “Baileys Chocolate Liqueur is amazing because it brings adults a new way to sip your dessert. Its rich and decadent flavors make it incredible in dessert-inspired cocktails like the Mocha Martini, which is my personal favorite! You may not have always thought of dessert when you go to the bar, but now you can with Baileys Chocolate Liqueur.”

While the dessert martini is always a satisfying sipper, the liqueur can be even more than just that craft cocktail. Of course, an adult coffee is equally enjoyable, this pour offers more of a mocha feel than a traditional Irish Coffee.

In some ways, the Baileys Chocolate Liqueur is more successful when it is incorporated into a dessert. For example, using it to flavor a mousse for a trifle adds a nuance that keeps the dessert from being one note. Or, consider using the liqueur as a soak in a layer cake. It is more than just a sweetness, the underlying Irish Cream that allows it to pair with many cake flavors.

Lastly, consider pairing the Baileys Irish Cream with some raspberries and maybe even turn those little berries into little shot glasses. A similar concept can be used with a hulled strawberry. Even a chocolate covered strawberry would amplify the chocolate experience.

But, if anyone would just prefer to sip that Baileys Chocolate Liqueur, here’s how to enjoy a classic dessert martini.
