When guests embark on a cruise ship, they do not want to compromise on their food preferences. With the new Princess Cruises vegan menu, the ships’ chefs plate delectable dishes that showcase vegetable forward dishes are a bounty of deliciousness.

As more travelers demand companies offer food variety, vegan and vegetarian options need to be as impressive as the celebrity chef driven menu that garners all the attention. It is more than a plate of vegetables or a serving of pasta. In many cases, vegan and vegetarian dishes have a tremendous amount of creativity and technical nuance.

Over the past several months, Princess Cruises has been focusing on its food offerings. While inviting hospitality connects all the on-board experiences, the breadth and depth of trending, thoughtful, and flavorful food choices have guests sharing those dining moments with everyone. The first bite might bring a smile, but it is the memory that has them booking another trip. Princess Cruises might be the original Love Boat, but the food has guests swooning over every bite.

Speaking about the new Princess Cruises vegan menu, Sami Kohen, Princess Cruises Vice President of Food and Beverage said, “Our dedication to delivering unforgettable culinary experiences continues to evolve with current trends, including the desire for more vegan offerings. Our new plant-based dinner menus offer our vegan guests an extraordinary culinary journey while providing reassurance and peace of mind with dishes they know meet their lifestyle preferences.”

Available in the main dining rooms across the fleet, the menu items include starters, salads, soups, pastas and main dishes. While some items are simple swaps in classic dishes, like a cauliflower taco, others are unique takes.

For example, one main dish is the Stir-Fried Portobellos with Soy-Maple Sauce. The punch of umami combined with a sweetness in this sauce makes the earthiness of the portobellos even more enjoyable. It might be the flavor combination that guests remember and try to recreate at home.

Overall, the vegan dishes could easily become a favorite with any and all guests. Options like the Endive, Beet and Pear Slaw sounds bright, hearty, and refreshing. That combination is a delicate balance in salad and the culinary team has nailed it.

With 15 vegan items, guests will appreciate the variety. Even if there might be a need for a repeat once or twice during the itinerary, there is no food boredom lingering on the table.

The Princess Cruises vegan menu is currently rolling out across the fleet. Check with the travel company or on-board dining services for more information.
